I guess my stomach knows that it's gonna be in for an extreme diet ride real soon and it's gonna be for a long time. Perhaps this is why out of the blue, one cold midnight, I craved for Jollibee and the moment I saw their menu online, I almost ordered everything. Okay, not everything... just 11 Jollibee dishes to be precise (Yum with TLC, breakfast Bangus, pancakes, spaghetti with chicken joy, rice & meatballs, rice and lumpiang shanghai, apple pie, burger steak with rice, beef mushroom with rice, longganisa breakfast and palabok). It was either because I was super hungry at that time or because I know I won't be having this kind of simple luxury once I force myself on an extreme island diet.

Lunch #2 at Zenz Restaurant at Mines View Park Hotel
Finally, here's the last set of wonderful, palatable, tasty (and free) dishes that were served during our short stay at Mines View Park Hotel. I tried not to eat much coz I was already feeling so bloated. But because everything was so yummy, aside from the strawberry sinigang, I also had a bit of the other dishes that were served:
chopsuey
fried bangus with garlic sauce
crispy fried chicken
bibingcrepe
Bon appetit!

Tofu, Walnuts and Oils - Good Fish Substitutes
What if I don't like eating fish?
Fortunately, I do. It's a good source of omega-3 fatty acids, which can help lower blood pressure and reduce risk of getting a heart attack in the future.
But for people who do not like the taste, smell, or even the sight of fish, well, fret not because there are other sources of omega-3 fatty acids. The levels are not as high (less 10%) as those of fish, but they will have to do. These are: Canola and Soybean oils, Walnuts, Tofu, and Flaxseed.

Daing na Bangus, Fried Baby Potatoes and Adobong Mixed Veggies
I was planning to make some Chicken Adobo today but when I opened the freezer, I saw my Bangus and my mouth immediately watered so I figured, I'm gonna have some fried bangus today! I think the trick is to heat my pan on strong fire, pour some olive oil and let the oil heat up too. While I let this happen, I dried my Bangus with a tissue, dashed both sides with pepper and salt then fried it on my heated pan, 5 minutes each side.
