Remember that time Peter and I stayed in Eurotel after watching Harry Potter? Peter and I didn't have lunch nor dinner because of our hectic schedules and by the time we reached IMAX in SM North Edsa, the line of people was so long that the only food concessionaires were selling were popcorn and soft drinks. Peter and I decided that we'd just buy food after the movie and enjoy our meal somewhere nice.

Strawberry Taho in Baguio
"Sa strawberry taho, matutupad na ang pangarap nyo!" (With strawberry soy, your dreams will come true!)
That was the greeting that welcomed us bloggers over and over again when we went to Strawberry Farm last Friday morning as part of our whole Baguio experience organized by Mines View Park Hotel. I wonder why that phrase?! It was such a LOL! ^_^
Anyway, I love taho per se. I always get to buy a cup whenever I'd go down to our lanai and catch the taho vendor early in the morning.
When I saw that their taho here has strawberries in it, I got excited and immediately bought one cup of it for Php20.00. Not bad... not bad at all! In fact, it tasted so good how I wish we can also have it here in Manila! Or pehaps I'll just buy some strawberry syrup and fresh strawberries and mix them to my cup the next time I buy one from my favorite taho vendor. ^_^

Bon appetit!

Finally, here's the last set of wonderful, palatable, tasty (and free) dishes that were served during our short stay at Mines View Park Hotel. I tried not to eat much coz I was already feeling so bloated. But because everything was so yummy, aside from the strawberry sinigang, I also had a bit of the other dishes that were served:
chopsuey
fried bangus with garlic sauce
crispy fried chicken
bibingcrepe
Bon appetit!

The Making of HalfMoon BibingCrepe
HalfMoon Cafe is the coffee and food place affiliated with Mines View Park Hotel in Baguio. During our visit there the other day, we bloggers were taught how to make this fantastic bibingcrepe, an exclusive culinary offering of HalfMoon Cafe. Let me summarize the steps:
heat the pan grill
pour the batter and let it bubble
lather a bit of butter and sprinkle with a bit of sugar after bubble appears
take it out of the pan
put your desired toppings (choco sprinkles, mallows, cheese, condense milk)
slice it into bite size pieces

Lunch #1 at Zenz Restaurant at Mines View Park Hotel
I am very picky when it comes to eating out. This is probably because I mostly like very flavorful dishes and detest those Western bland ones which I normally found to be served in restaurants I've visited before. This is why I resort to my own cooking 90% of the time. And so I was really surprised and happy to have enjoyed the dishes that were served during my stay at Mines View Park Hotel in Baguio from Sept. 23-24. We were always served with buffet but I was assured that their regular servings are always hefty and worth the price you pay for.
Let me show you the dishes I had together with my fellow bloggers who got invited to visit the place and experience it all for ourselves. Here's the lunch we had:

Strawberry Sinigang at Mines View Park Hotel in Baguio
I had the privilege to taste Zenz Restaurant's (located at Mines View Park Hotel in Baguio) very innovative dish, Strawberry Sinigang, yesterday noon. Me and 19 other bloggers had a wonderful stay at Mines View Park Hotel and we were served with very wonderful healthy and tasty entrees, one of which is this unique strawberry dish:

The Strawberry Sinigang we had included freshly-picked strawberries to give the dish the sweet-tangy flavor broth and delightfully fruity charm. You can have your choice of shrimp, fish, beef or pork for meat.
As for what I had, it was Pork Strawberry Sinigang. I super liked it! It had the tangy sinigang taste with a strawberry twist. I thought it would taste weird, but everything actually fused together. Yum Yum!!!
