Zucchero Cafe de Boracay

Zucchero Cafe de Boracay is a nice and simple coffee shop which also serves good pasta dishes at affordable prices. The facade is not that interesting, albeit quaint. I usually would usually pass by this place whenever I walked from Angol beach to Station 2. It's along Station 3 beside some tiangge stalls.

Boracay Nomnoms and Gluglug (Aria, Luna Rossa, Calypso, Gelato, Cornetto, Arwana)

Living on an expensive island like Boracay, I couldn't afford to have buffet or fine dining all the time. On several occasions, I just actually hung out at my favorite carenderia in front of the beach and ordered my favorite Filipino dishes at Php35.00 each. When I felt like I needed to gain some weight coz perhaps I was exerting too much effort from walking the four kilometer stretch of the white sand beach almost every day, then I'd pig out in one of Boracay's afforable buffets. At other times, I'd eat pizza in one of Boracay's best pizza places, Tree House, and there was that one time I ordered yummy Chicken Afritada at Casa Pilar.

On this post, I'd like to share with you my other food experiences in Boracay so in case you still haven't visited this beautiful island, you would at least know what to expect and you can prepare your budget for it.

Aria
This restaurant is located at D'Mall. They serve delicious Italian food like pizza and pasta. They were all yummy by the way. Well, they should be since I consider the prices a bit steep, ranging from Php300- Php600 per dish.

Casa Pilar @ Boracay

Casa Pilar is one of those food places that I should come back to next time I go to Boracay. It was a hot afternoon and I was looking for some free wifi connection. I saw some people using their laptops at Casa Pilar so I went in. I plugged my pc and ordered some food.

Boracay Tree House Resort and Bar

I kind of have a love-hate relationship with Tree House in Boracay. This resort and bar was recommended to me by Lissa. She said that it's one of the best pizza places on the island aside from Da Mario which is also owned by the same person who owns Tree House.

La Carmela de Boracay Dinner Buffet

I'm on my 20th night here in Boracay. For three days now, I've been trying to have what I've been craving for --- sinigang na baboy & chicken barbecue at Andok's, moist chocolate cake & crinkles at Budgetmart. But every time I'd thought of finally going there, something always came up. Either I was full, I was tired or I just wanted to swim and snorkel all day and rest at night. But tonight, I was really raring to go.

Boracay Buffet @ Bamboo Bar

So there we were in Boracay... after more than an hour of walking from Stations 3 to 1 and back, we ended up near where we came from which was at Boracay Station 3. For us, it has the most appetizing and affordable buffet we can find --- dinner buffet at Bamboo Bar at Station 3 for only Php250.00.

Cheap, Affordable, Beach Front Boracay Food Place

I set aside 11k for our march 25-29 stay in Boracay. This amount is separate from the airfare and accommodations I've already spent when I booked this vacation last November 2010. This budget is just for airport parking, terminal fees, excess baggage fees, port fees, boat fees, tips to porters, Boracay fun activities, shopping, food and drinks. Well, guess what? Thanks to a certain cozy dining nook with prime beach front view that we discovered, I was able to save Php3,000 on those 4 days Peter was still with me. Amazing.
