Chicken House is one of the food places we visited the first time we went to Bacolod. We want to see if their chicken inasal is indeed more scrumptious than all the other versions of chicken inasal in the Philippines.
The first thing we noticed when we got there was how jam-packed the place was. Perhaps because it was lunch time. This was after we had our brunch at Cafe Bob's. We were able to take a seat inside at a little corner and started ordering immediately.
All the dishes in the menu were priced so affordably! Perfect!
We ordered chicken inasal, of course as well as baticulon (gizzard) and atay (liver). We couldn't wait to eat!
But because the place was so full of people, it took about 30 mins. or so before our food arrived. I was already starting to feel impatient. I was starting to feel very hungry!
When our food arrived, we just took some photos then ate in silence. Haha.
The food was okay. For me it didn't taste any different from all the other scrumptious chicken inasal from other brands. Either those other restaurants were doing the recipe right, or the other blogs which described the food offering of Chicken House were just exaggerating. Or maybe it's just our taste buds, I dunno. Nevertheless, we were satiated. Til our next visit which will happen very, very soon! Bon appetit!
