When we went to Magalawa Island last weekend, my hubby and I were expecting a feast just like the one we got at Cagbalete island when Koryn first organized a trip for us. Since we availed the food package at Magalawa island, we were indeed offered some kind of Filipino food fiesta!

Passion Restaurant: a Taste of Chinese Fusion Food
After watching the astounding preview of KAOS at Resorts World Manila's New Performing Arts Theater, we were led to Passion Restaurant for some scrumptious dinner. The first time we ate there, I wasn't that impressed with their version of Chinese food; it was a bit bland compared to what I'm used to. This time around though, the dishes served to us tasted much better. Maybe, I'm just not a fan of dumplings, the food that we had before. It's a blessing that this time, they served us other amazing dishes which were more agreeable to our taste. Too bad we didn't get the names of the dishes but we'll try our best to describe them here.

Tofu, Walnuts and Oils - Good Fish Substitutes
What if I don't like eating fish?
Fortunately, I do. It's a good source of omega-3 fatty acids, which can help lower blood pressure and reduce risk of getting a heart attack in the future.
But for people who do not like the taste, smell, or even the sight of fish, well, fret not because there are other sources of omega-3 fatty acids. The levels are not as high (less 10%) as those of fish, but they will have to do. These are: Canola and Soybean oils, Walnuts, Tofu, and Flaxseed.
