Cheap Filipino Food @ Caliraya Sunrise Viewing Lake and Eatery

Every time we'd visit Caliraya for a an afternoon of windsurfing, we'd always drop by Stop Over Kitchenette for lunch. This particular weekend though, we wanted to try a different venue.. somewhere nearer Surf Kamp for a change of scenery and ambiance. Luckily, we noticed this place called Caliraya Sunrise Viewing Lake and Eatery. We usually pass by this area but this was the first time we really noticed it.

Isdaan at the South (Laguna)

We discovered that a new branch of Isdaan has opened in Calauan, Laguna when we went windsurfing in Caliraya one time. It's just along the national highway somewhere between the towns of Bay and Victoria. It was so packed when we got there in the evening. Twelve people/groups were waiting for tables before us so we checked out the place first, took lots of photos, bought some pasalubong at their shop and finally, we were able to get our own floating nipa hut.

Stop Over @ Caliraya

After windsurfing all afternoon last Saturday, we stopped by our usual eating place called Stop Over. It's just a few meters after Surf Kamp (if you're on the way back to Manila). What we liked about Stop Over after all these years is that it's always breezy in there, plus we get a view of the Caliraya Lake.
