Mom and Tina's Bakery Cafe

Peter and I just got home from our dinner date with my best friend, Mer, at Mom and Tina's Bakery Cafe located across Tiendesitas. It was our first time there and oh my!!! Looks like we have to keep coming back there. The food is so delicious!

Fez and My Desserts @ Serendra

We treated our friend Ninette last weekend to a birthday dinner and coffee date. As usual, we couldn't decide where to go until Peter recommended Fez at Serendra. I must say, we made the right decision. The place was empty when we got there, it was cold and cozy, perfect for my faux fur jacket and suede boots. ^_^

Anyway, Ninette had vegetable salad which I also loved. Their cocktail selection seemed interesting so I ordered a strawberry margarita which made me tipsy almost immediately, probably because I haven't had anything since lunch.

Then I had the yummiest stewed lamb chops I've tasted. I forgot the exact name of the dish but it came with dates. Instead of getting rice to match it with, I ordered couscous.

Exotic Dive Resort Food Offering

I stayed at Exotic Dive Resort in Malapascua, Cebu from Dec. 1-5. It's the most high end resort in the area which I can tell through the quality of their food. I gained weight after that trip but it was all worth it. I just want to share here some photos of the food and drinks they made me eat. Although they offered a lot of international cuisine, you know me, I'd rather stick to the food I love to eat. Maybe next time, I should be more adventurous, huh? And next time, I should try to order for myself rather than ask my roommate to order for us. Teehee. Anyway, here they are:

Beef Stew in Spaghetti Sauce

The moment I woke up today, I started working on the Christmas decorations of our house. Once I got into it, I didn't stop except for bathroom breaks. After almost 8 hours (whew!) I was finally done. And to reward myself, being so famished and all, I made myself some beef stew. I was going to consult one of my cook books but as you can see, I was so hungry and I didn't have the patience to study the recipe anymore. So, I just did what I know best... JUST COOK! FOLLOW MY GUT FEEL and COOK!!!
