Whopper Tuna Sandwich

Every time I want to go on a diet (meaning, I try not to eat rice), I make myself some sandwich. But see, I have a huge appetite and one tiny sandwich won't be enough. So, what I do is make one huge sandwich as long as I make sure that I use wheat bread and fill it with a healthy tuna spread in between the slices of toasted or grilled wheat bread.

Here's how the tuna spread is done (while toasting or grilling the wheat bread).

1. Mix the following ingredients:
  • a can of tuna
  • a small packet of mayonnaise
  • a dash of salt and pepper
  • a dash of ginger
  • a dash of Italian herbs
  • minced onion
  • minced garlic
  • grated cheese

2. Spread this on one side of the wheat bread.
3. Top it with tomato slices.
4. Top it with a piece of vegetable leaf (like pechay or lettuce)
5. Cover with another slice of wheat bread.
6. Then repeat 2-5.

With my own whopper tuna sandwich, I'd be able to satiate my appetite and eat healthily as well.

Bon appetit!
