It was by accident that we found this huge and colorful Chinese restaurant along Diosdado Macapagal on Valentine's evening. We didn't have anything planned. We just came from a long weekend stay at Mandarin Oriental and we couldn't get any table at any nearby restaurant so we decided to head home until we saw a colorful building from afar with bright flickering lights. We checked it out and voila --- after 10 minutes of waiting, they had an available table for us. It was really a blessing! We were able to have a proper Valentine's dinner celebration and some of the dishes were really awesome!
Check out the dishes we ordered: Shanghai Suahe with Golden Shrimp Ball - This is to die for! So yummy! Haven't tasted anything like it.
Onion Cake with Shredded Meat - This proves to be one of our two favorites that evening. The onion cake tasted a bit sweet which was perfect for the tasty shredded meat.
Sweet and Sour Lapu-Lapu - This one was too sour for our taste.
Sotanghon Bihon with Abalone Sauce - This is our other favorite. The serving was huge so we got to take home half of it. Even the following day, after we reheated it, it still tasted very delicious! We highly recommend this one!
