Every time I'd visit Dumaguete, I always make sure that I buy cakes and pastries from Sansrival. It was in 2010 when I first visited the place with my hubby and since then, other branches have already opened up:
- Main branch: located at #1 San Jose St. (from 9:00 am - 7:30 pm Mon-Sun); 035-225-4440
- Bistro: along Rizal Blvd. cor. San Jose St. (10:00 am - 11:00 pm Sun-Thurs); 10:00 pm - 12:00 mn (Fri-Sat)
- Robinson's Place: Dumaguete Business Park and IT Plaza, Ground Flr (from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm (Mon-Fri); 10:00 am to 9:00 pm (Sat-Sun); 035-226-3506(035)226-3506
I haven't tried dining at Sans Rival Bistro yet as I was busy trying other food places during my last trip earlier this month. Although I heard they really serve good Spanish-inspired dishes. But I did dine twice at the main branch of Sans Rival where I had cakes, spaghetti and chicken sandwich then bought pasalubong for my friends in Oslob. I also had coffee at their branch in Robinson's Place mall together with my bessy.
As usual, I was always satisfied by their sweet and yummy offerings. Not only does everything taste good, but the prices are very affordable too. For instance, when my bessy Hanz and I went to their branch at Robinson's Place, we ordered a slice of carrot cake (P21.00), a slice of L'Opera (P36.00), a cup of Black Forest Coffee (P60.00) and a cup of Kahlua Java (P55.00). Everything was only P172.00, same as if you would order a tall cup of coffee in Starbucks! That really made me happy. I will definitely go back here again and again and again...
