The first time I went to Scooby's with my hubby Peter, I ordered their spaghetti and I couldn't forget it since. It was one of the best tasting fastfood spaghetti I had so far, competing with my love for Jollibee's spaghetti. hehehe. So of course, when I went to Scooby's this month, I once again ordered their spaghetti and as usual, I was satisfied. It's sweet and tomatoey at the same time, just the way I like my spaghetti. But that's not all. I went again twice, with my bessy Hanz, for lunch and for dinner. We were both on a tight budget and were looking for affordable and seemingly home-cooked meals. The canteen-like dishes offered at Scooby's were good enough for us. They were filling and quite tasty too.
Adjacent to Scooby's is The Bean connection where a lot of young adults and college kids hang out to either have coffee, do their homework, hold group meetings or just basically tinker with their laptops and android devices since this coffee place offers free wifi to their patrons. Since I was looking for a place to finish work, we hung out here for a little while while having cold brewed coffee and two yummy cupcakes (Red Velvet and Hershey's).
The ambiance of the place is quite lively because of the number of people hanging out. Nevertheless, we both loved it since the cupcakes were good and affordable and the wifi was steady.
The Bean Connection is located along a very busy street just beside Chowking (30 San Jose Street), Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental). It is also owned by Scooby's (the entrance of which is at the street perpendicular to Bean Connection), a sister-restaurant of Dumaguete's famous chain of coffee shop, Sans Rival.

Kero, you mean to say there's no Jollibee in Dubai? Awww... if only I have the money I'd put one up there.

DeleteVery interesting blog. A lot of blogs I see these days don't really provide anything that attract others, but I'm most definitely interested in this one. Just thought that I would post and let you know.
